Rockport Cultural Arts District – Where history, art and economic vitality meet
In 2016, the coastal town of Rockport faced a setback. Its application to the Texas Main Street Program didn’t make the cut.
But rather than close the door on revitalization, Rockport opened a different one. The community rallied around its thriving arts scene, ultimately earning the Texas Commission on the Arts designation as the Rockport Cultural Arts District.
